Hypnosis
What Is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is simply a state of relaxation and focused attention during which the subconscious mind is highly responsive to suggestion. What can be accomplished in the hypnotic state when suggestions are developed specifically for you and your desired results can be simply amazing!
Most people naturally enter light states of hypnosis throughout the day. In fact, research shows that 95% of people can be hypnotized to some extent.
- Have you ever become so engrossed in a book or a movie that you lost track of time?
- Perhaps you have been so engaged in a task that someone startled you or you didn't notice they were talking to you.
- Maybe you've had the experience of driving and suddenly realized you missed your regular exit...but can't remember passing it.
These are all light hypnotic states, and if you have had experiences like this, you can be hypnotized. In fact, the main requirements for allowing yourself to be hypnotized are that you are willing to be hypnotized, you have some degree of imagination, and you trust the person who will be hypnotizing you.
